CookeyMod

von rizecookey

CookeyMod adds PvP-client style animation and rendering tweaks to Fabric. It restores 1.8 sword blocking for tools, stops eating animations from cancelling swings, and lets you tune camera transitions, damage tints, and hand visibility.

Unsere Zusammenfassung

Was dieses Projekt macht

What CookeyMod doesCookeyMod is a client-side Fabric mod that ports a handful of PvP-client features into regular Minecraft and the Combat Test snapshots. It focuses on animations, first-person rendering, and HUD details rather than gameplay changes. The mod started as an alternative for the Combat Tests line and has since been ported to standard releases.## Animation and camera tweaksTool blocking restores the 1.8-style sword block animation for any tool when you hold a shield in the off-hand. Swing & use item keeps your swing animation running while you eat or drink instead of cancelling it. Camera transition speed lets you adjust how fast the camera height changes when you sneak or stand up, and you can turn the transition off entirely. A third-person eating and drinking animation mimics the old console editions. Disable camera shake removes the screen shake that comes with view bobbing while leaving the hand bob intact.## HUD and rendering optionsIgnore effect FOV stops potion effects from altering your field of view; sprinting still gives its usual slight FOV boost. Show hand when invisible renders a translucent hand in first person instead of hiding it completely, and a separate opacity slider controls how transparent that hand appears. Hide unused shield keeps the shield model hidden in first person until you block.Damage tint options are unusually granular. You can recolor the damage flash on entities, enable it on armor and armor trims (with a decal mode for trims), show it on held items in third person, apply it to worn capes, and toggle it on hands or held items in first person. Cooldown hand offset moves the hand height to where it sits right after the attack cooldown resets. Alternative bobbing switches to a Bedrock-style bobbing motion. Name in 3rd person displays your own username above your character in third-person view.## Miscellaneous fixesFix cooldown desync addresses a known client-server desync where the attack cooldown indicator falls out of step with the server (MC-218570). A settings button can be shown or hidden in the vanilla options menu.## Compatibility and requirementsCookeyMod runs on Fabric only. The project lists support for Minecraft 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.21.10, and 1.21.9. It's marked client-side required and server-side unsupported, so it doesn't need to be installed on a server. The license is CC0-1.0.
