What CxvqoIgnore does
Public servers often get cluttered with spam, unwanted chatter, and noisy automated text. CxvqoIgnore helps you clean that up. It's a client-side mod that hides incoming player messages and system chat lines based on regular expressions that you configure.
When the mod is active, it checks incoming messages against your saved patterns. If a message matches any pattern, the game drops it completely from your chat box. The filtering happens silently on your client, so you do not see the text at all.
By default, the mod ships with two starter rules targeting cxvqo and denisapain. So it turns on automatically when you launch the game. You can turn it off at any time if you want to see unfiltered chat again.
Managing filter rules
The mod gives you total control over your filter list while you play. Look, you don't need to edit config files or restart the game to make adjustments.
Patterns run as case-insensitive Java regular expressions. Because the engine checks each expression against the entire chat line, you should put wildcards on both ends if you want to match a phrase anywhere in a message. For instance, wrapping a word in wildcards catches that word no matter where it appears in a sentence.
If you enter an invalid regular expression, the mod rejects it and shows an error message in chat. This prevents broken rules from crashing your game or silently failing.
In-game commands
You manage the mod entirely through chat commands.
To turn filtering on or off, use:
/cxvqoignore enable/cxvqoignore disable
To handle patterns, use these commands:
/cxvqoignore addregex <pattern>adds a new regular expression to your active list./cxvqoignore listregexdisplays all current patterns alongside their numeric indexes./cxvqoignore removeregex <index>deletes a pattern using the index number from the list command.
You can inspect your list, find the index of a rule you no longer want, and delete it in seconds.
Setup and compatibility
CxvqoIgnore runs purely on your local game client. It is unsupported on dedicated servers, so you don't install it on server hardware.
Here are the exact requirements to run the mod:
- Minecraft Java Edition 26.2
- Fabric Loader 0.19.3
- Fabric API for 26.2 or newer
