What the addon changes
ExtendedDrawersAddon is a storage mod created by Globox1997 as an addon for Extended Drawers. It alters the visual appearance and mechanics of the base storage blocks. Instead of standard flat sprites, this addon renders stored items in 3D on the drawer front. It removes all flat icons from the drawers, with only the limiter icon remaining flat.
If you use Extended Drawers for your item storage, this mod gives your setup a more physical look. Items appear as 3D objects resting inside each drawer compartment.
Upgrades and item counts
The addon adds a dedicated drawer screen for managing your storage blocks. You can open this interface to put your upgrades into the drawer.
By default, the drawer doesn't render item counts on its face. Honestly, you enable item count rendering by upgrading the drawer with a book and quill. Once you place the book and quill upgrade inside the drawer screen, the drawer shows the quantity of items stored inside.
System requirements and loader support
ExtendedDrawersAddon runs on the Fabric mod loader. The author doesn't plan to develop a Forge version. To run the mod, you'll need to install Fabric API separately. Other dependencies come installed with the mod itself.
You also need the base Extended Drawers mod. The addon requires both client side and server side installation. That means both your Minecraft client and any multiplayer server hosting the game must have it installed. That mod supports Minecraft versions 1.20.1, 1.21, and 1.21.1.
Modpack permissions and bug reports
The mod is released under the MIT License. This creator allows players to include the addon in any modpack. If you run into bugs or issues while using the addon, you can submit reports on the official GitHub repository issue tracker.
