What MossyLib is
MossyLib is a Minecraft library mod created by LopyMine. It's listed in the Libraries and APIs category. The project provides basic utilities and common code for LopyMine projects, which helps the creator develop and release mods faster.
It doesn't add new gameplay blocks, items, or mobs directly into your game. Instead, it's a dependency that provides shared backend code for other mods. You only need to install it if you want to run a mod that requires MossyLib. Once placed in your game files, it runs in the background.
Included features and components
The library packages specific shared components for the author's projects.
First, it includes a custom YACL theme made for LopyMine mods. This custom styling provides a consistent visual look for configuration screens across the author's releases.
Second, it contains general utility code. Real talk, these utilities handle routine backend tasks so that individual projects don't have to duplicate identical helper functions.
Third, it provides prebuilt multi-version and multi-loader code. This shared base helps the developer target multiple mod loaders, including Fabric, Forge, and Neoforge, across different game releases without writing separate foundational code each time.
Client and server side requirements
MossyLib is strictly required on the client side. If you use a mod that depends on it, you must install MossyLib into your client mods folder.
Server side support is completely unsupported. You shouldn't install MossyLib on dedicated servers. It is built only for client environments.
Supported mod loaders and versions

- Fabric
