WynnVista is a Fabric-side mod made for players who use LOD mods like Distant Horizons or Voxy while playing on the Wynncraft MMORPG server. It watches your location and changes your render distance based on whether you are inside or outside the Wynncraft map boundary.
When you first launch the game with WynnVista installed, it records your current LOD render distance from your Distant Horizons or Voxy settings. This becomes your "max" distance for when you are inside the Wynncraft world. As soon as you step outside the map, the mod automatically reduces your render distance to a lower, configurable value. When you re-enter the map, it restores your saved max distance.
The mod supports both Distant Horizons (version 2.2 or higher) and Voxy (version 0.2.9-alpha or higher). Here's the thing, for Distant Horizons, it applies the reduced render distance value you set. For Voxy, it completely disables LOD rendering outside the map instead of using a reduced distance.
You can adjust both the max and reduced render distance values through the Mod Menu or by editing the config file. The max distance can be set between 16 and 256 chunks. A reduced distance ranges from 12 to 128 chunks. There's also an option to toggle in-game messages that notify you when the fog lifts or descends.
WynnVista requires Fabric Loader 0.14.21 or higher and Fabric API. It only works on the client side and has no server functionality. The mod is built for Minecraft 1.21.11, though the Modrinth page lists additional supported versions including 1.21 through 1.21.11. It also requires Cloth Config and Mod Menu to function.
