Creeper AI Updated

What this mod does Creeper AI Updated changes how creepers hunt you. Instead of waiting at a wall or door, they'll blast through blocks to reach you. They can also leap at you like spiders do, and there is a chance they spawn already charged. Their explosions can set blocks on fire. The result is that hiding inside a simple shelter no longer works the way it used to. The idea comes from Epic Siege Mod, but this project focuses only on creepers. It's a targeted change that makes early-game survival noticeably harder without rewriting every mob in the game. ## Configuration you can use Everything aggressive about the new behavior can be tuned or turned off. You can set the probability of charged creepers spawning. You can adjust how far away a creeper notices you and at what distance it decides to start breaching. You can disable wall-breaking entirely, disable the spider leap, or disable fire from explosions. There are also minimum and maximum Y-level settings that control where creepers with breaching ability are allowed to spawn. ## Compatibility and side requirements The mod runs on Fabric and Forge. Supported Minecraft versions are 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.4, 1.19.3, 1.19.2, 1.19.1, 1.19, 1.18.2, 1.18.1, and 1.18. It requires the mod on the server; the client side is unsupported, so you do not need it installed on your launcher if you are joining a server that already has it. ## Status The project is archived. The author has stated there will be no more updates. What you see in the current releases is the final feature set. If you want a lightweight way to make creepers a real threat again - and you're okay with a mod that won't receive future version ports - this does exactly that.
