Extra Recipe

What Extra Recipe Does Extra Recipe adds crafting recipes for items that are difficult or impossible to obtain in vanilla Minecraft. So this includes horse armor (diamond, gold, iron), name tags, totems of undying, and enchanted golden apples. The mod works with other mods too, expanding their crafting options where possible. It doesn't add new items or change existing mechanics - it only provides new ways to craft what already exists in the game. ## Who It’s For This mod is useful for players in survival mode who want reliable access to rare items without relying on loot chests, villager trades, or rare drops. It’s also helpful in modpacks where certain items are needed for progression but are too scarce. Server admins might use it to balance resource availability. It’s not intended for creative mode players who already have unlimited access. ## Main Features The core feature is the addition of shapeless and shaped crafting recipes. For example, you can craft an enchanted golden apple using eight gold blocks and one apple, matching the vanilla recipe. Horse armor recipes use leather and the corresponding material (diamond, gold, or iron). Name tags require paper and string. Totems of undying are crafted with emeralds, gold, and a diamond. These recipes are disabled by default in some modpacks but can be enabled via config. ## Compatibility and Caveats Extra Recipe requires Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, or Quilt to run. It's server-side only, though the client may install it optionally for local testing.
