What the mod does
MoreCobblemonTweaks adds client-side interface adjustments for Cobblemon players on Minecraft 1.21.1. So it runs on Fabric and Neoforge. You don't install it on the server, as server-side use is unsupported.
The mod focuses on PC box management and stat readouts. You get bulk box actions and quick stat previews. It also reads data from breeding items when addon mods provide it.
Storage box and search improvements
Vanilla Cobblemon limits your PC search box to 19 characters. This mod raises that limit to 100 characters. The bar still displays 19 visible characters around your cursor, but you can type longer terms. Autocomplete suggestions pop up as you type in the filter bar at the bottom. Pressing tab fills in the suggested term immediately.
Box handling gets several new tools. When the release button is inactive, a box list button takes its place. Clicking it opens a page-based overview of every storage box. You can swap box positions by clicking one box and then clicking another. Right-clicking a box opens it directly. When you change wallpaper settings inside this list view, the new background applies to every box on that page. Searching in the box overview highlights boxes that contain matching Pokemon.
Managing large groups is faster with multiselect mode. A toggle button sits at the bottom right of the storage screen. You can click individual slots to select specific targets, or hold shift while clicking to highlight a range. Once chosen, you can drag the whole group into another box or release them all at once.
Breeding tooltips and stat inspection
When you open the PC screen, an IV panel appears on the left side. So it lists each individual value alongside the average score of the selected Pokemon. Stat names use color coding by default. If you prefer percentages instead of raw numbers, hold shift to flip the display.
The mod also adds lore tooltips to Pokemon eggs from supported breeding mods. It reads stored data like forms and IV stats. Special icons flag key stats on egg tooltips by default. A gold star marks shiny eggs by default. An aqua triangle indicates perfect IVs, while a red hazard triangle flags zero IVs. You can swap these symbols for text lines in the settings. If a server encrypts egg data, the mod can't read the hidden stats and displays a warning instead.
Configuration and compatibility
You can adjust every feature through configs/more_cobblemon_tweaks.json. Real talk, players with Mod Menu and Cloth Config installed can change these settings using the in-game options menu.
The mod requires Cobblemon 1.6.1 or newer. For egg inspections, it supports Cobbreeding 1.8.8 or newer and most releases of BetterBreeding.
