The core submodule provides the language adapter along with the Kotlin standard and reflect libraries.
The library submodule holds the remaining components, including additional Kotlinx libraries brought in by Fabric Language Kotlin.
The root project bundles these submodules and their required dependencies into one downloadable jar.
Because of this bundled setup, you don't need to install Fabric Language Kotlin separately when you've Quilt Kotlin Libraries installed. Modders get ready-to-use wrappers for Minecraft features, such as registries and math functions, alongside Kotlin wrappers for QSL features.
Requirements and compatibility
You need Quilt Loader to use this mod. Here's the thing, it only supports the Quilt mod loader, so you shouldn't try running it on other platforms.
Compatibility is verified for specific Minecraft game versions. These versions are 1.21, 1.20.4, 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.20, and 1.19.4. Make sure your game installation matches one of these supported targets.
Both client-side and server-side environments are optional. You can run it on a dedicated server, a local client, or both. If you're a player, you only need to install it when another Quilt mod lists it as a dependency. If you're a developer, it lets you write Kotlin code for the Quilt platform right away.
