Baubley Heart Canisters

by Traverse_Joe

Baubley Heart Canisters restores the classic Tinkers' Construct heart canisters as wearable items using Baubles or Curios, letting you store extra hearts as equippable accessories.

Our summary

What this project does

This mod brings back a feature many players miss: the heart canisters from Tinkers' Construct. Instead of being passive inventory items, they now work as wearable accessories. You can equip them in Baubles or Curios slots to gain additional hearts, just like in the original mod. The implementation is straightforward - each canister adds a set amount of extra health when worn. It doesn't change how hearts are gained or lost; it simply adds more capacity through equipment. The mod requires either Baubles or Curios API to function, depending on your setup, and also needs Mantle as a shared library. It's built for both Forge and Neoforge loaders, so you can use it in either environment. Supported Minecraft versions include 1.21.1 and several 1.20.x releases, as well as some 1.16.x builds listed in the official record. The mod is client and server required, meaning it must be installed on both ends to work in multiplayer. It doesn't alter core game mechanics beyond adding equippable health items. There are no crafting recipes or progression systems added - this is a direct port of the old feature with modern mod compatibility. If you used heart canisters in older Tinkers' Construct packs and want them back in a Baubles-friendly form, this mod delivers that exactly. But it is licensed under MIT, so it is free to use and modify. The design focuses on simplicity: restore the item, make it wearable, and let it work with existing accessory systems.
