What the mod adds
CobbleDollars introduces a dedicated economy to your Cobblemon world. Defeating wild pokemon earns you money directly in your balance. The payout changes based on the level of the target you defeat.
You don't have to wander without a place to spend your savings. The mod adds specialized merchant villagers to overworld settlements. Around 8% of village spawns produce a merchant. If you want to train an existing vanilla villager instead, place down a Display Case from Cobblemon to give them the merchant profession. If you hold a pokeball in your hand, these merchants follow you around.
Trading and banking menus
Interacting with a merchant gives you two main interfaces.
Right clicking the trader opens the shop screen. And this menu lets you search for listed items, browse configured category tabs, and buy up to 256 items in a single purchase. The interface displays the total cost right next to the item preview. Here's the thing, if your funds fall short, the price turns red.
Shift and right clicking the trader opens the bank screen. The bank allows you to deposit items to sell them for currency. By default, trading one emerald to the bank grants 500 CobbleDollars. Server hosts can set up custom item lists and payout rates for any vanilla item or items from other mods.
Configuration and commands
The mod stores its settings in your config folder under cobbledollars.
On the client side, you can pick where the money overlay shows on your screen. The default position sits in the bottom right corner, but you can move it to top left, top right, or bottom left.
For server owners and modpack makers, the common configuration controls every item sold in the shop, category groupings, and bank exchange prices. CobbleDollars also includes permission nodes for administrative commands. These permissions handle reloading configs, updating leaderboards, modifying player money balances, and opening or editing merchant inventories.
