What Create offers
Create is a Java mod created by simibubi. So it gives you blocks and tools for building, decoration, and aesthetic automation.
Many tech mods keep you locked inside static menus. Look, create doesn't do that. It challenges you to assemble setups out of animated components working together in custom arrangements. You get to decide how your machines look and run. Anyone build physical contraptions in the world rather than managing numbers inside boxes.
In-game guides with Ponder
You don't need to leave your game to look up how a part works. The mod includes an in-game visual documentation tool called Ponder.
Ponder guides you through the mechanics and gadgets in the mod. It shows animated demonstrations directly in your game. You can study how components interact before you put them into your builds. Simple. It saves you time and keeps your focus on the project.
Controls and components
Create adds practical features for handling items and managing your machines. It supports keybinds for ctrl, shift, and alt modifiers so you can tweak settings without hassle.
The mod also connects with recipe viewers to help you organize resources. Stock keepers feature four distinct sync modes. You can turn sync off, sync only from recipe viewers, sync only to recipe viewers, or sync both ways.
Other components in the project include backtanks, spouts, and stock links. The mod also includes systems to manage contraption collisions and player logins with a global railway manager.
Loader support and requirements
Create supports Minecraft versions 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. It runs on the Forge and Neoforge mod loaders.
On multiplayer servers, Create is required on the server side and optional on the client side. The project is licensed under LicenseRef-Create-Mod-License. Community members also submit localizations through CrowdIn.
Who it suits
If you want to build moving machines and decorate your world with working contraptions, this mod gives you the tools you need. It leaves the design choices in your hands.
