What It's
Extractinator adds a single machine to Minecraft that processes blocks into resources. The core idea is simple: take blocks that you'd normally throw away and convert them into something valuable.
How It Works
You'll feed gravel or cobblestone into the machine, and it extracts useful materials in return. The mod also incorporates silt and slush ore, expanding what you can process beyond basic stone variants. Instead of letting stacks of gravel pile up in storage, the Extractinator turns them into ore and other drops worth keeping.
The concept is inspired by Terraria's Silt Extractinator, a tool players have used for years to process ore-rich mud. This mod adapts that mechanic for Minecraft, giving you a way to recycle common blocks.
Automation Support
The machine is designed for full automation from the start. You can pipe blocks in using hoppers, conveyor systems, or other tech from compatible mods. Once set up, it runs hands-off while you work on other projects. This makes it a good fit for survival worlds or modpacks where you want to maximize your ore output without constant babysitting.
Mod Compatibility
The mod works with both Fabric and Forge, and it includes extensive support for other mods. You can integrate it into modpacks that use popular tech systems, and it's designed to support additional blocks beyond the defaults. Here's the thing, this flexibility means you're not locked into processing just gravel and cobblestone. You can expand its capabilities depending on what other mods you've installed.
Technical Details
Extractinator requires Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.20, or 1.19.4. Both the client and server need the mod installed if you're running a multiplayer world. The project is licensed under the MIT License, so it's free to include in any modpack or server setup.
