What the mod adds
Farmer's Cutting: BetterEnd brings a set of new cutting board recipes that work with the BetterEnd dimension. It extends the Farmer's Delight content by letting you process BetterEnd plants and blocks on the cutting board. In addition to the standard recipes, the mod adds extra ways to recycle bark, strip wood, and extract more dye from single-block-high flora. Smaragdant crystals, a BetterEnd mineral, can also be broken down into shards for later use.
Who will benefit
If you enjoy farming or cooking mods and spend time in BetterEnd, this pack gives you more material to work with. Players who like to automate food production or craft decorative items from BetterEnd resources will find the added recipes useful. The pack also helps those who run servers with BetterEnd installed, because the server side is required for the recipes to function.
Compatibility and requirements
The mod is optional on the client but must be present on the server. It supports four major loaders: NeoForge, Fabric, Forge, and Datapack-based installations. The listed Minecraft versions are 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.21, and 1.21.1, and the mod works with the unofficial Forge and NeoForge ports of BetterEnd. No other loaders or versions are claimed.
How it works
The pack is delivered as a collection of datapacks. Each datapack adds recipes for a specific mod, and the BetterEnd pack is one of them. When the datapack is loaded, the cutting board from Farmer's Delight (or its Refabricated version on Fabric) will recognize the new inputs and produce the corresponding outputs. The process is the same as any other cutting board recipe: place the item on the board, use the appropriate tool, and collect the result.
What you won’t get
The mod does not claim performance improvements, new items beyond the listed recipes, or compatibility with other Minecraft versions. It also doesn't replace the core BetterEnd mod; it only adds recipe extensions. If you're using a loader not listed, the pack will not load.
Where to find it
All of the datapacks, including the BetterEnd one, are hosted in the project's GitHub repository. Here's the thing, the repository lists the full set of supported mods, confirming that the BetterEnd pack is part of the collection.
Bottom line
Farmer's Cutting: BetterEnd is a lightweight addition that expands cooking and crafting options in the BetterEnd dimension. It works across the main loaders for the recent 1.20-1.21.1 releases and requires the server to have it installed.
