by TwistedGate

Adds extendable posts in many materials for Immersive Engineering, requiring both client and server install.

Our summary

What this project does

What this mod does Immersive Posts is an add-on for Immersive Engineering that brings back extendable posts with a wider selection of materials. You craft an Extendable Post, pick a material, and right-click to build upward. The original treated wood, aluminium, and steel posts are included, plus a long list of metals and other options added in later updates. Nether brick, iron, gold, copper, lead, silver, nickel, constantan, electrum, uranium, concrete, and leaded concrete are all available once you reach the corresponding mod version. The in-game manual from Immersive Engineering covers the details. ## Who it's for Players who use Immersive Engineering and want taller, more varied post options for power lines, structural builds, or decoration. It suits both survival and creative playstyles where the vanilla post height limit feels restrictive. ## Compatibility and requirements The mod runs on Forge and NeoForge. Supported Minecraft versions are 1.21.1, 1.20.1, and 1.19.3. Both client and server must have the mod installed. It is licensed under a custom license that allows modpack distribution with credit and a link back to the Modrinth page, but forbids re-hosting the mod file on other sites. ## How it works in practice Place an Extendable Post, then right-click it with the desired material to extend it further. You can also right-click on an already placed post to keep building upward. The process is manual and doesn't add automated machinery or power generation. The mod doesn't change Immersive Engineering's core systems beyond adding the new post variants.
