Our summary

What this project does

What it doesJust Enough Resources (JER) is an addon for Just Enough Items (JEI). It fills JEI's search results with information the base mod doesn't show: what mobs drop, what villagers trade, what chests in generated structures contain, how enchantments work, and where plants and seeds come from. You can also build your own ore distribution graphs using the RegionScanner tool that ships with the mod.## Features you'll useOpen JEI and search for a mob. JER adds a drop list. Search for a villager profession and you see every trade tier. Search for a structure name - desert pyramid, bastion remnant, trial chambers - and the chest loot tables appear. Enchantment entries show what the enchantment does and what items accept it. Plant and seed entries show where they generate and what they drop when broken. The RegionScanner feature lets you define a region and generate a graph of ore distribution inside it. This is useful if you want to see how a modded ore spawns relative to vanilla ores, or if you are tuning a datapack and need a visual check.## Compatibility and requirementsJER runs on the client only. The server does not need it installed. The Modrinth project lists support for Fabric and Neoforge loaders. The declared Minecraft versions are 26.2 and 26.3. These version numbers correspond to the loader's own versioning scheme; they aren't standard Minecraft release numbers like 1.20.1 or 1.21. Do not assume support for any other version unless the project page adds it.The GitHub repository describes the project as a rewrite of NotEnoughResources built on top of JEI. Its latest tagged release targets Forge 1832 or newer. That Forge target is not reflected in the current Modrinth metadata, which lists only Fabric and Neoforge. Treat the Modrinth loader list as the authoritative compatibility statement for this distribution.## Who should install itIf you play with JEI and want to look up loot tables, trade tables, or world generation data without leaving the recipe screen, JER does that. If you build modpacks or datapacks and need a quick way to visualize ore placement, the RegionScanner graph tool is built in. If you run a server, you don't need to install it there - clients can use it independently.
