by AMathBoi

A client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that adds a TI-84 style graphing calculator overlay inside inventory screens.

Our summary

What this project does

What it does MI-84 Calculator puts a full scientific and graphing calculator inside Minecraft. Open any inventory and you'll find an X button at the bottom-left corner. Click it or press H to toggle the calculator overlay. The interface mimics a TI-84 layout with on-screen keys for all input; computer keyboard typing is not supported. The calculator handles scientific functions, rectangular-complex math, fractions, roots, combinatorics, and logic tests. It keeps a persistent history and lets you store scalar variables. List support includes six built-in lists (L1 through L6) plus user-named lists with a STAT→Edit table, list literals, and operations for sequences, sorting, fill, and summaries. ## Graphing and stats You can define functions in a Y= editor, set window bounds, trace curves, zoom, and view a table of values. Format settings control rectangular coordinates, trace readouts, grid, axes, labels, and expression visibility. Stat plots support three fixed-color configurations with scatter and line rendering, selectable marks, and clipped line segments. Histogram, box-plot, and relative-frequency modes appear in the UI but are marked as deferred and don't render yet. ## Controls and persistence Default keybindings only work while an inventory is open. N resets the calculator position, H toggles visibility, and K toggles the inventory X button. All three can be rebound in the Controls menu. History, variables, lists, table setup, format options, and stat plot configurations all persist between sessions. ## Compatibility and requirements The mod runs on Fabric 1.21.1 and requires Fabric API plus Fabric Language Kotlin. It's client-side required; the server side is unsupported. The overlay may clip at unusually small GUI scales. Polar and sequence graph modes, graph CALC tools, matrices, programming features, and statistical calculations aren't implemented. ## Who it's for Players who want a calculator without leaving the game. Useful for redstone math, coordinate conversions, enchantment probabilities, or any calculation you'd rather do in an overlay than on a second screen.
