About Oreganized
Oreganized is a mod that adds two new base metals to Minecraft: lead and silver. It also introduces electrum as an alloy created by combining silver and gold. These materials are designed to offer distinct functions beyond simple tool or armor reskins, providing meaningful additions to gameplay that align with the quality of Mojang's own content updates.
Features and Uses
Silver can be crafted into mirrors for decorative or redstone applications, as well as used to create scribes and gargoyles for thematic builds. Look, when combined with gold, silver forms electrum, which is used in compatible mods for items such as knives and shields.
Lead serves both decorative and practical purposes. It can be melted in a cauldron to produce molten lead, which functions as a damage-dealing fluid rather than a visual effect only. Lead bolts are a new projectile type usable with crossbows. And lead can be used as a building material for industrial or post-apocalyptic aesthetics.
World Generation
The mod generates silver and lead ore in the world. Silver ore appears in veins similar to iron, while lead is found in boulders scattered across plains biomes. These boulders can be broken down into lead-rich stone, offering an alternative source of lead outside traditional mining.
Requirements and Compatibility
Oreganized requires the Blueprint API to load. It's designed as a vanilla-plus experience and integrates with several popular mods: Create supports crushing and melting the metals, Farmer's Delight adds electrum knives, Shield Expansion enables electrum shields, and Supplementaries interacts with lead-based explosives.
Availability
Oreganized is available for Minecraft versions 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. It supports both Forge and NeoForge mod loaders and must be installed on both client and server sides. All content is released under the MIT License.
