Our summary

What this project does

Overview

TAB is an all-in-one information display plugin created by NEZNAMY. The project shows custom text, player details, and server data in multiple interface locations on a Minecraft server. So it focuses on broad platform compatibility and steady performance. The codebase is distributed under the Apache License 2.0 and is listed under the Building & Decoration category on Modrinth. On the project page, client-side and server-side environments are categorized as unknown.

Configuration and documentation

Getting started is straightforward. Real results right away. The default configuration provides working values and practical examples out of the box. You can keep the setup simple or expand the configuration files to handle complex data fields and layouts.

Documentation is hosted on an external project wiki. You'll find explanations of every feature there, alongside known limitations and platform behavior. The author asks server administrators to check the wiki before asking for help, since it answers most setup questions.

Supported platforms and source compilation

The plugin works across both standalone game servers and proxy setups. Supported mod loaders and platforms include Bukkit, Bungeecord, Fabric, Folia, Neoforge, Paper, Purpur, Quilt, Spigot, Velocity, Waterfall, and Forge.

Full releases are published on Modrinth, GitHub releases, SpigotMC, BuiltByBit, and CurseForge. For minor fixes between full updates, development builds are published automatically through GitHub actions. You must be logged into GitHub to download those development builds.

If you compile the project from source, you'll need JDK 25 or higher. Running ./gradlew build in the terminal creates a universal jar file in the /jar/build/libs/ directory. That single jar contains all modules for every supported platform.

Maintenance and support policies

Maintenance follows strict boundaries set by the author. Active work includes compatibility updates for new Minecraft versions, bug fixes, documentation updates, and performance tuning. Real talk, the author doesn't accept feature requests.

Personal developer support is reserved exclusively for users who bought the plugin in the past. Free users don't receive direct one-on-one help from the developer. Instead, a community Discord server run by community members offers a place for questions. If you find a bug, you can open an issue on GitHub using the provided issue templates. You must provide clear steps to reproduce the problem. Server help requests opened as GitHub issues are closed immediately.
