What the mod does
Aeronautics Wind Sound plays a wind sound whenever you ride a moving physics structure from the Create: Aeronautics mod. The volume rises as the vehicle speeds up and drops when you're under cover. That sound reacts in real time, so you hear a quiet breeze at low speed and a roaring gust at high speed.

If you spend time piloting airships, balloons, or other Aeronautics contraptions and feel the experience is too silent, this mod fills that gap. Here's the thing, it is aimed at players who want a sensory cue that matches their vehicle’s motion without changing any gameplay mechanics.
Key features
- Speed-based volume: The louder the wind gets, the faster your vehicle travels. The mod reads the vehicle’s current speed and scales the sound accordingly.
- Shelter attenuation: When blocks block the view in the direction of travel, the wind volume is reduced. This mimics the effect of being inside a cabin or behind a wall.
- Configurable parameters: Upper and lower speed thresholds, overall volume range, and the shelter attenuation factor can be edited in the configuration file. You can fine-tune how subtle or dramatic the audio feels.
Compatibility
The mod runs on the client side only; it doesn't require any server-side component. It's built for the Neoforge loader and works with Minecraft version 1.21.1. No other loaders are supported, and the mod does not claim compatibility beyond the listed version.
