Better Command Block UI Overview This mod replaces the vanilla single-line command block editor with a multi-line text box featuring horizontal and vertical scrolling. It applies automatic indentation based on parentheses and color-codes nested NBT data for improved readability. Users benefit from line wrapping, click-and-drag selection, double-click word selection, and Ctrl-erase that removes whole words instead of entire strings. ## Chain Navigation and Saving Buttons for moving backward and forward through command block chains are integrated directly into the UI. When multiple blocks feed into the current one, all are listed with directional tooltips, with the inline predecessor shown first. A dedicated save button and Ctrl+S shortcut allow saving changes without closing the screen. ## Tools Window A tools window provides a rotation selector that outputs values in radians and a color selector that returns both integer and hexadecimal representations. A configurable keybind (default: semicolon) enables users to select two opposite corners of a volume; upon selecting the second corner, the corresponding area selector string (e.g., x=..,y=..,z=..,dx=..,dy=..,dz=..) is copied to the clipboard for easy reuse. ## Interface and Configuration The original command block state buttons (type, conditionality, power mode, output tracking) are replaced with compact icons featuring tooltips. A new toggle button switches between viewing the command and the last output. Indentation behavior is fully configurable, and optional auto-save can be triggered when closing the screen or dealing with chain. The interface adapts to UI scale and window size, and ModMenu integration offers an in-game configuration screen. ## Compatibility This is a client-side only mod. It reads the command exactly as provided by the server and displays it with formatting but does not alter the stored command by adding line breaks. Supported mod loaders are Fabric and Quilt. Verified Minecraft versions include 26.2, 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6, 1.21.5, and 1.21.4. The mod is compatible with NBT Autocomplete, Component Utils, Better Suggestions, and Better Highlighting. No server-side installation is required or supported.
