What the mod does
Sinytra Connector lets you run Fabric mods inside a NeoForge environment. It bridges the gap between the two modding ecosystems. You don't need to choose only one mod loader when building your setup.
The mod is a translation layer. It loads your chosen Fabric jars alongside native NeoForge files. Both the client side and the server side are optional. Su5eD created the project, and it carries the MIT license.
Setup and dependencies
Getting things working takes just a few steps. You need NeoForge installed on your client or server first.
Next, you add the required dependencies. The setup needs Launchpad and Forgified Fabric API alongside Connector in your mods folder. Look, if you want better compatibility with third-party libraries like EMI and REI, you can also install Connector Extras.
Once those files are in place, you drop your Fabric mods directly into the mods folder. Connector handles loading them automatically during startup.
Version support and limits
The mod supports two specific Minecraft versions, 26.1.2 and 1.21.1.
Version 26.1.2 is the primary supported target. So it receives the latest fixes and compatibility work. Version 1.21.1 is the long-term support release. It still gets critical bug fixes, but it might miss newer compatibility patches.
Not every Fabric mod works right away. The developers review bug reports based on complexity and priority. Some mods require patches that sit outside the scope of the translation system. In those situations, issues get marked as not planned, and you'll need to find a native NeoForge port instead.
Developer tools and community help
If you hit a problem, look for existing reports first. Test the issue on pure Fabric to confirm that Connector causes the bug. You can ask questions on Discord or file an issue report on GitHub.
Mod developers can also add Connector to their development workspaces through the official Maven repository. The project includes a transformer plugin system.
