What Frame API does for you Frame API is a library mod built for the Modding Playground collection. It bundles common code so other mods do not have to rewrite the same systems. If you play with Modding Playground mods, this is the piece that makes them work together without conflicts. ## Who should install it You need Frame API when a mod lists it as a required dependency. Most players won't install it on its own. Mod developers who want to use the shared modules can add it to their project through the Modding Playground Maven repository. ## Verified capabilities The API exposes a tabbed item group system that lets mods organize items across multiple tabs inside a single creative group. It also provides a wood registry that standardizes how wood types are registered and accessed across mods. Both modules run on both client and server. ## Compatibility and requirements Frame API runs on Fabric only. Supported Minecraft versions are 1.19, 1.19.1, and 1.19.2. The mod is required on both client and server. The code is licensed under MIT while assets remain all rights reserved. No other loaders or versions are supported. ## Developer integration Developers declare the Modding Playground Maven repository and optionally the Shedaniel Maven for the frame-config module. The dependency coordinate is net.moddingplayground.frame:frame-fabric with the desired version.
