Gearifiers

What Gearifiers does Gearifiers adds RPG-style affixes to almost every piece of equippable gear in the game. Crafted items, chest loot, and mob drops can all spawn with a random set of modifiers. The mod currently includes over 70 distinct modifiers that range from straightforward stat boosts like extra damage or protection to more unusual effects that trigger when you take damage, mine blocks, or kill enemies. Negative modifiers exist too, so a sword might hit harder but break faster, or armor might give extra health while reducing its own protection value. Player luck influences the rolls, so luck potions or enchantments can shift the odds in your favor. ## Rerolling with the Reroll Altar When a piece of gear rolls modifiers you don't want, the Reroll Altar lets you try again. Place the modified item and a payment item in the altar, spend some experience levels, and the modifiers are replaced with a fresh set. This works on gear that already has modifiers and on gear that has none at all, giving you a way to chase specific affixes without relying purely on world generation or mob drops. ## Who it suits The mod fits players who want an RPG loot layer on top of vanilla progression. If you enjoy evaluating trade-offs between positive and negative affixes, or grinding for a perfect roll on a favorite weapon, Gearifiers adds that loop without overhauling core combat or adding new dimensions. It also works well in modpacks that already use Fabric or Quilt and want extra gear variety without heavy configuration. ## Compatibility and requirements Gearifiers runs on Fabric and Quilt loaders. Supported Minecraft versions are 1.19.4, 1.20, and 1.20.1 - no other versions are listed by the project. Both client and server must have the mod installed. The license is MIT.
