Faster hopper transfer rates
Vanilla hoppers push or pull items at a slow rate of one item every eight game ticks. Hugosmp hopper changes that behavior directly on your world. And it raises the throughput so hoppers move ten items every eight ticks instead. That makes item transport and chest unloading up to ten times quicker across your entire setup.
Fast movement matters when you deal with bulk storage. Here's the thing, huge sorting machines often back up because basic hoppers take too long to clear item streams. With this modification, storage lines empty quickly, water stream drop points clear out, and complex redstone contraptions keep running without long item delays.
Server requirements and installation
This project runs entirely on the server side. You don't need to install it on your local game client, and in fact client installation is unsupported. That means players joining your server don't need any special setup or matching client files to play.

Automated sorting builds benefit immediately from the increased capacity.
