Что делает этот проект

What Naturally Trimmed does

Naturally Trimmed applies armor trims to armor and equipment that the game generates on its own. The stated aim is a more complete gameplay experience, with armor found in the wild looking more interesting.

Where trims appear

The mod covers three sources of equipment.

Mob spawns. Newly spawned mobs have their equipment trimmed.

Loot tables. This includes chests from all structures, and the project gives blacksmiths, bastions and end cities as examples. Piglin bartering is covered too, along with more loot sources.

Villager trades. Villagers, wandering traders and modded traders are all supported.

Trimming tools

Tools such as pickaxes or swords can be trimmed as well. This works through either Trimmable Tools or Tool Trims Mod, so you need one of those alongside this mod.

Configuration

All features are configurable. The project points to a config page on its wiki for the full list of options.

Yet Another Config Lib is optional and can be used to open the config screen. On Fabric, Mod Menu is listed alongside it.

Loaders, versions and sides

Modrinth lists two loaders: Fabric and NeoForge. When you use Fabric, the mod requires Fabric API.

The listed Minecraft versions are 26.3, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, 26.2, 1.21.11 and 1.21.1. Treat these as individual versions rather than a continuous range.

For sides, Modrinth marks the client as unsupported and the server as required. The project sits in the Adventure, Equipment and Game Mechanics categories and uses the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.

Compatibility and problems

The project says the mod should work with basically all mods. Look, for specifics, it refers to Known Issues and Mod Compatibility pages in its wiki. It's worth reading them before adding the mod to a large modpack.

If you run into an issue, report it to the project's issue tracker.

Where to download

The source lives in a GitHub repository, but its README says new releases are no longer published there. Downloads are available from Modrinth.
