Night Config Fixes

What it does Night Config Fixes is a small library mod that targets three recurring problems with the Night Config library as used by Minecraft Forge's configuration system. The mod is optional on both client and server, so you can install it only where the issues appear. ## Workaround one: blank config crash The first workaround handles the ParsingException: Not enough data available crash. On Windows, config files sometimes lose all their data and become empty. When Night Config tries to read such a file, the game crashes. With this workaround enabled, the mod deletes the blank file and generates a fresh one using default values. Any custom settings in the corrupted file are lost. For modpacks that ship pre-configured files, place those files in the defaultconfigs folder so the restored config uses the pack's intended defaults instead of the mod's built-in ones. ## Workaround two: respect modpack defaults The second workaround changes how Forge corrects individual invalid config entries. Normally, when a single value fails to parse (for example, a user types 10.5 for an integer setting), Forge resets that entry to the mod's built-in default. This workaround makes Forge check the defaultconfigs directory first. If the modpack provides a default there, that value is used instead. ## Workaround three: global server configs The third workaround is Forge-only. It forces server-type config files to generate in the global config directory rather than inside each world's saves/WORLD_NAME/serverconfig folder. The author notes that Forge's per-world approach causes confusion for many users. ## Compatibility The Fabric build includes only the first workaround. The second and third workarounds are specific to Forge's config system and exist only in the Forge version. Supported Minecraft versions are 1.20 and 1.20.1.
