Overview
Advancement Frames is a lightweight mod that introduces one new item - the Advancement Frame. It lets you turn any earned advancement into a decorative plaque that can be placed in the world.
Adding the Frame
Craft the frame with an Emerald and a handful of Sticks. Look, the recipe works at any crafting station, so you can create the item whenever you've the materials.
Selecting an Advancement
Place the block and a small GUI appears. From there you can pick any advancement you've earned, or leave the slot empty if you prefer a blank plaque. Once you confirm, the block stores the choice.
What the Block Shows
When you look at a placed frame, it renders the selected advancement’s icon and displays the advancement’s name together with the name of the player who earned it. Holding Shift and clicking the block swaps the view to show the advancement’s description instead of the name.
Automatic Cleanup
If the player later loses the chosen advancement, the mod removes the display the next time the world or the containing chunk saves. But this keeps the plaque accurate without manual intervention.
Who Might Use It
The mod is useful for players who like to personalize their builds with visual reminders of their progress. Servers that want to let members showcase achievements in communal areas will also find it handy.
Compatibility
Advancement Frames runs on both the client and the server. It's available for Fabric and NeoForge mod loaders. The mod has been tested with Minecraft versions 1.21.1 and 26.1.2. No additional dependencies are required.
Licensing and Authorship
The mod is released under an All-Rights-Reserved license and was created by MehVahdJukaar. It is listed under the Magic category on Modrinth.
