Placement+

What it does Placement+ removes the short delay Minecraft adds when you hold right-click to place blocks repeatedly. The result is a smoother, faster placement rhythm that feels more responsive, especially when bridging or filling large areas. The mod is a fork of Accurate Block Placement Reforged but strips out the bedrock bridging feature since Quark already covers that. It also restores a toggle keybind so you can turn the behavior on and off without leaving the game. ## Who it's for This mod suits players who do a lot of repetitive building - bridging across gaps, laying floors, or placing rows of blocks - and want the placement to keep up with their mouse. It's client-side only, so you can run it on any server that allows client mods without needing the server to install anything. ## Compatibility and requirements Placement+ runs on Forge for Minecraft 1.19.2 and 1.20.1. It doesn't support Fabric, NeoForge, or other loaders. The server side is unsupported, meaning the mod must be installed on your client only. The author has marked the project as no longer updated and recommends Smart Block Placement with Connector for newer versions such as 1.21.1. ## What's different from the upstream fork The original Accurate Block Placement Reforged included a bedrock bridging feature. Placement+ removes that entirely to avoid overlap with Quark. It also re-adds the toggle keybind that existed in the original fabric version before it was reforged, using a fresh implementation since the old repository is gone. The codebase is noted as not cleaned up, so it carries some technical debt from the fork. ## Current status Development has stopped. If you play on 1.21.1 or later, the author points to Smart Block Placement with Connector as the maintained alternative. For 1.19.2 and 1.20.1 on Forge, Placement+ still works as described.
