Preventing workstation trade rerolls
VillagerTradeFix changes how villager professions and trades work in Minecraft. In standard vanilla worlds, players can break and place job workstations over and over. Doing this lets you cycle through random trading options until you see the exact trades you want.
This mod stops that trade reroll tactic. It gives villagers memory for their previous trade offers when they lose their job. If a villager loses employment and gets reemployed later, they'll sell their old items again.
The memory persists no matter how many different jobs the villager takes. If a villager worked a job, lost it, and later takes another job, their past offers stay remembered. You can't reset what a villager sells simply by breaking their workstation.

If you run a server or singleplayer world and want to stop trade abuse, this mod addresses that problem. Here's the thing, it suits players who want villager jobs to retain their original trade offers instead of being cycled repeatedly.
Platform requirements and installation
VillagerTradeFix is classified under game mechanics and is developed specifically for Fabric. The author Globox1997 has stated that there are no plans for a Forge release.
Both the client and server sides require the mod. If you run a multiplayer server, install it on the server and on every connecting client.
To install the mod on Fabric, download Fabric API as a separate dependency. You do not need to find other third party files because all other required dependencies come packaged directly with the mod.
