Athen is a quality-of-life mod designed specifically for Hypixel SkyBlock players. Developed as a client-side Fabric mod, it introduces a wide array of visual, informational, and functional improvements to streamline the user experience across different aspects of the game.
General Gameplay and Items
Athen provides several tools to improve item management and general interaction. Players can use colored enchants, view commission displays, and access IRC features. Here's the thing, the mod includes various item tweaks, such as displaying item age, showing item hex colors, and displaying stars as stack sizes. It also allows for the removal of gear scores and vanilla enchants. Additional utility features include a lag detector, item value displays (showing lowest bin and craft cost), and various keybinds for wardrobe management and slot binds.
Visual and Rendering Enhancements
The mod offers extensive rendering optimizations and visual tweaks. These include custom tooltips, custom scales, and game tints to personalize the interface. Players can benefit from improved visibility through arrow hitboxes, mob highlights, and player spin effects. The mod also features radial menus, a render optimizer, and the ability to adjust item name positions and item rarity backgrounds to create a more tailored visual environment.
Slayer Improvements
For players focused on Slayers, Athen provides critical data and timing information. But it features attunement displays, slayer stats, and specific timers for both spawns and kills. The mod highlights bosses, minibosses, and demons, and provides slayer info directly at the feet of the mobs. It also includes specialized alerts for cocoons and enderman lasers, as well as a Vengeance damage tracker that displays information in the chat.
Kuudra and Dungeons
Athen enhances high-level content like Kuudra and Dungeons with specialized automation and tracking tools. In Kuudra, players can use an auto re-queuer, track carries, and view build information or run breakdowns. It also provides supply waypoints and timers for build starts. For Dungeons, the mod offers a terminal solver, terminal simulator, and terminal waypoints to assist with complex mechanics. It also includes a party finder with player stats on hover and rare item alerts to keep players informed during runs.
