Construction Wand

What the mod adds Construction Wand introduces four wand tiers - Stone, Iron, Diamond, and Infinity - that extend builds by placing many blocks in a single right-click. The Infinity wand can place up to 1024 blocks at once and never breaks. Stone wands are fixed at nine blocks and can't be upgraded; Iron, Diamond, and Infinity wands accept extra cores that change their behavior. All wands require Forge on both client and server and are available for Minecraft 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.4, 1.19.3, 1.19.2, 1.19.1, 1.19, 1.18.1, 1.18, and 1.17.1. The project is licensed under the MIT License. ## Cores and how they work Every wand ships with a Construction core that extends the face you're looking at. Holding the option key (default CTRL) and scrolling cycles through placement restrictions such as Horizontal, Vertical, North/South, East/West, or no lock. Installing an Angel core lets you place a block on the far side of the targeted block or row, up to a tier-dependent distance. Right-clicking empty air while holding the desired block in your offhand places a midair bridge block, but this fails if you've fallen more than ten blocks. A Destruction core removes non-tile-entity blocks on the targeted face, up to the wand's destroy limit. Removed blocks vanish, but the undo system can restore them. ## Configuration and inventory integration Sneak + option key + right-click on air opens a per-wand option screen. Options control restriction mode, placement direction (Player vs. Target), replacement of fluids and snow, block matching (Exact, Similar, Any), and a random mode that pulls blocks from your hotbar. Shulker boxes, bundles (1.17+), and many modded containers automatically supply blocks to the wand. Botania integration allows the Black Hole Talisman to act as a block source, while the Rod of the Lands and Rod of the Depths provide infinite dirt or cobblestone at a mana cost. The Infinity wand inherits netherite-style fire immunity on 1.16+. ## Undo system While sneaking and holding the option key, the last placement or destruction operation is highlighted with a green border. Right-clicking any highlighted block undoes that operation, returning items for placements or restoring blocks for destructions. ## Recipe viewing All wand and core recipes are documented in-game through Just Enough Items (JEI).
