Single item display block
Display Case is a decoration mod created by chappiepie. It adds a decorative block designed to hold and display a single item.
You can place any item or block inside the box. Any item you pick up can go into the container without special restrictions. Once an item is placed inside, the display case spins it by default. The spinning movement shows off the item from all angles. This gives players a simple option for base building, room decoration, or just for fun.
The case also matches well with the chains added in Minecraft 1.16. Look, you can combine chains with display cases to build hanging displays or integrate them into complex architectural designs.
Waxing and coloring options
You have direct control over how the case looks and moves in your world.
By default, any item in the case spins continuously. If you want to stop the case from spinning, click on the block with a honeycomb. The honeycomb applies wax and stops all rotation. When you want the item to spin again, click the case with any axe. The axe removes the wax and starts the spinning animation once more.
You can also change the color of the display case. Click the case with any dye in your hand. The case takes on that dye color immediately. This lets you color code your exhibits or blend the case into room color schemes.
Installation and loader support
Display Case requires installation on both the client side and the server side. You must have the mod running on both the client and the server for it to work properly in multiplayer and singleplayer worlds.
The project is published under an all-rights-reserved license by author chappiepie. It belongs to the building and decoration category.
