Explorer's Compass

What it does Explorer's Compass gives you a single item that can find structures anywhere in your world. Right-click the compass to open a GUI listing every registered structure - vanilla and modded alike. Pick one or a group, and the compass needle points toward the nearest match. Shift-right-click clears the search and returns the needle to world spawn. While a search is active, the HUD shows the structure name, distance, and dimension. ## How it works The compass doesn't scan chunks on its own. But it queries the world's structure registry and calculates the nearest generated instance within the configured radius. If no structure is found, the needle simply points to spawn. The HUD updates in real time as you move, so you can follow the bearing without reopening the GUI. ## Compatibility The mod runs on both Neoforge and Fabric. So it requires the mod on both client and server. Supported Minecraft versions are 26.3, 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, 1.21.11, and 1.21.1. Because it reads the global structure registry, it works with any mod that registers structures properly - no extra patches or add-ons needed. ## Configuration A config file lets you set a maximum search radius and blacklist specific structures by registry name. This is useful if you want to hide dungeons, trial chambers, or any modded structure from the search list. Changes take effect after a reload; no restart required. ## License and packs The project uses Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International. You may include it in modpacks.
