Armor and Equipment Customization
Show Me Your Skin! is a Minecraft modification created by enjarai that allows players to hide or customize armor rendering. Built for the Fabric mod loader under the MIT License, the mod provides a dedicated graphical interface to adjust the visibility of equipment. Players can independently toggle the invisibility of individual armor pieces as well as shields and elytra.
In addition to hiding base armor, the mod allows users to hide armor pieces separately from armor trims and enchantment glint. While gradual transparency settings are no longer available, full invisibility toggles can be configured for each piece of gear.
Contextual Display and Player Tags
The mod includes context-sensitive rules that restore default armor visuals during specific gameplay situations. For instance, armor can be set to automatically reappear whenever a player enters combat. In this state, armor remains visible for a configurable number of seconds after taking damage.
Players can also use the configuration interface to toggle the display of player name tags. These settings allow users to tailor their visual environment to match personal preferences during exploration or battles.
Singleplayer and Multiplayer Modes
Show Me Your Skin! operates with required client-side installation and optional server-side support. Look, when used purely on the client side, players can set up per-player settings overrides for any other player on the server, with those visual changes remaining visible solely to the local user.
When the mod is installed on a dedicated server, it switches to server mode. In server mode, individual appearance choices sync across the network in real time, making them visible to everyone on the server. Server administrators also possess the ability to enforce restrictions on available configuration options.
