Overview of the mod
The Conjurer is a Java mod created by ModdingLegacy. It introduces a new magician mob to the illager family, giving you a fresh enemy type to encounter in your world. The project fits into three distinct project categories on Modrinth: equipment, mobs, and world generation.
If you want more hostile variety among vanilla illager factions, this mod brings a dedicated magic user into that group.
Content and focus areas
The primary addition in the mod is The Conjurer, an illager that relies on magic. Because the mod is categorized under mobs, equipment, and world generation, its features touch on hostile encounters along with related gear and world features tied to the mob.
The project is distributed under an All-Rights-Reserved license (LicenseRef-All-Rights-Reserved). All development and hosting proceeds go directly toward supporting the author team.
System requirements and environment
You need to install The Conjurer on both the client and the server. It's not a client-only tweak or a server-only plugin.
If you run a dedicated server or host a multiplayer world, every connecting player must have the mod installed on their local client. Single-player worlds also require the standard client installation.
Mod loaders and game versions
The Conjurer supports two mod loaders: Forge and Neoforge.
Compatibility is specific to certain Minecraft releases rather than entire version spans. You can run the mod on Minecraft 26.1.2, 1.21.4, 1.20.1, 1.19.4, 1.19.2, 1.18.2, 1.16.5, and 1.16.4.
Make sure you match your loader and game release to one of these exact versions before loading it into your mod directory.
Localization and translations
The mod includes community translations across thirteen distinct language options. These translations cover Cymraeg (Cymru), Deutsch, Español (México), Français (France), and Italiano (Italia). Honestly, and it also includes Vlaams (Vlaanderen), Polski (Polska), Português (Brasil), Русский, Slovenčina (Slovensko), Türkçe (Türkiye), Українська, and Simplified Chinese (简体中文).
If your game is set to any of these languages, interface text and mod elements will display in that localization.
