What the mod does
Visible Traders lets you view locked villager trades before you spend emeralds or items to level them up. In the base game, a villager hides higher tier trades until you complete enough low tier exchanges. This mod makes those future trades visible in the trading menu. You see the full list right away.
The project is created by Ramixin and published under the MIT License. It's listed under the game mechanics and mobs categories.
Working with existing and modded villagers
You don't need to generate a new world or breed new villagers to use it. Any villager that existed in your world before you installed the mod will show their locked trades.
The mod is compatible with all villager types. If you play with mods that add custom villager professions or new trading mobs, Visible Traders handles them too.
If you ever remove the mod from your setup, it cleans up after itself. Real talk, the locked trades that Visible Traders created are removed upon uninstallation. This step prevents villagers from suddenly having every locked trade open and available right away.
Server requirements and compatibility
Visible Traders requires installation on both the client and the server. Both sides must have the mod present to communicate trade data.
Because the mod needs both client and server components, it cannot function on Vanilla, Spigot, Paper, or Bukkit servers. Those platforms don't provide native mod support for this setup. To play on a dedicated server, you need to run a Fabric or NeoForge server environment.
The mod supports Fabric and NeoForge across Minecraft versions 1.21, 1.21.1, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, and 26.2.
For trade cycling mods, Visible Traders currently supports Trade Cycling by henkelmax. Other trade cycling mods don't work with it at this time.

This mod helps anyone who spends time trading with villagers. You avoid wasting resources on villagers that do not have the high tier trades you want. Folks who try this inspect every tier before making a single trade.
