Weather Changer

What it does Weather Changer is a client-side utility that overrides the weather you see in Minecraft. You can force clear skies, rain, or thunderstorms locally. The server still runs its normal weather cycle and no packets are sent to change it. Other players see whatever the server sends them. You only see what you choose. ## How you control it The mod adds a single command with a short alias. Type /clientweather clear, /clientweather rain, /clientweather thunder, or /clientweather off to return to the server's weather. The alias /cweather works the same way. If you prefer keys over typing, four keybindings are available in the standard controls menu: one to disable the override and one each for clear, rain, and thunder. All are unbound by default so you can assign whatever keys suit you. ## Compatibility and requirements The mod runs on both Fabric and Forge. On Fabric you need Fabric API installed. It's marked as required on the client and unsupported on the server, so installing it on a dedicated server won't do anything. Supported Minecraft versions are listed discretely: 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9, 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6, 1.21.5, 1.21.4, 1.21.3, 1.21.2, 1.21.1, and 1.21. Older versions may work with older mod releases but aren't supported by the current maintainer. ## Who it's for This is useful for content creators who need specific weather for screenshots or video, players who dislike rain noise while building, or anyone who wants to test how their builds look in a thunderstorm without waiting for the RNG. Because it touches only the client render, it works on any server that allows client-side mods. ## License The project is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.
