Fire Extinguisher 🧯

What this mod does Fire Extinguisher adds a full set of firefighting tools and safety equipment to Minecraft. You get two types of extinguisher - normal and copper - that put out fire, soul fire, campfires, and any modded fire block that extends vanilla fire or sits in the minecraft:fire tag. A fire hydrant refills a used extinguisher with a right-click. A fire axe clears fire around a block when you right-click or break it. A fire pole lets you slide down from upper floors without taking fall damage. ## Protection and alarms Two armor sets, Heavy and Light, come in helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots. Each piece you wear extends fire protection; Heavy gives more protection but slows you down, Light keeps you faster. The fire alarm control panel connects smoke detectors, alarm switches, bells, sirens, and sprinklers within a configurable radius - no redstone wiring needed. The panel and its light emit a redstone signal while the alarm is active. Switch variants include classic, EU call point, and Japanese push button styles. ## Automatic suppression and signage Sprinklers and smoke detectors detect fire and extinguish it automatically. Location signs mark extinguisher positions and emergency exits, including exit signs without a direction arrow. ## Configuration A config file lets you adjust the extinguisher cooldown in ticks, the alarm panel radius on each axis (zero disables it), whether the alarm latches until manually reset, fire pole slide speed in blocks per second, and whether hydrants can refill extinguishers. You can also add custom extinguishable block IDs via the extinguishableBlocks option or a data pack using the fire_extinguisher:extinguishable tag. ## Compatibility The mod requires both client and server installation. It runs on Fabric, Quilt, Forge, and Neoforge. Supported Minecraft versions are 26.2, 26.1.2, and 1.21.8. License is MIT.
