FPS - Display is a Fabric and Quilt mod that shows your current frames per second on screen in Minecraft.

저희 소개글

이 프로젝트가 하는 일

FPS - Display is a lightweight utility mod for Minecraft. It renders your current frames per second as text on the screen. The mod runs on the client side only and doesn't require server installation.

It's built for Fabric and Quilt loaders. The mod includes parts of fabric-api to function as a standalone Fabric mod. While it works with Quilt, the author notes potential future issues and doesn't provide support for Quilt-specific problems.

The mod supports lots of Minecraft versions. These include snapshots like 26.3, 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, and 26w14a, as well as recent releases from 1.21.11 down to 1.21. You can find the full list of supported versions in the Modrinth project page.

To access the settings menu in-game, you need either Cloth-Config or YetAnotherConfigLib installed. If both are present, YetAnotherConfigLib takes priority. The settings allow you to adjust how the FPS counter appears, including text size.

The mod is distributed under the GNU LGPL v3.0 license. Source code is available on GitHub. You can report bugs or suggest features through the GitHub issue tracker. Contributions such as new features or translations are welcome via pull requests.

The author states they do not plan to port the mod to Forge or NeoForge. Real talk, some users have run it with Sinytra Connector, but this is unsupported and used at your own risk.

FPS - Display does not alter game mechanics or performance. It only reads and displays the existing FPS value. It's intended for players who want to monitor their frame rate while playing, especially when testing performance changes or troubleshooting.
