Peculiars

Overview Peculiars adds a collection of edible items that build on the fruit and plant types introduced by Team Abnormals' Atmospheric mod. Each food provides specific status effects, letting players tailor their gameplay with tasty bonuses. The mod functions alongside any mod that supplies the base ingredients and doesn't require other Abnormals content beyond Neapolitan and Blueprint. ## Dependencies The mod won't load unless both Neapolitan and Blueprint are present. For a full view of the recipes, the Just Enough Items (JEI) interface is recommended. ## Yucca Foods Yucca Fudge consists of chocolate-covered Yucca Fruit pieces that grant Persistence and Sugar Rush. Yucca Cake appears as a dark, lime-tinged slab topped with a Yucca flower. Yucca Ice Cream provides a strong Persistence boost. Yucca Milkshake stores active effects and transfers them to the next mob that hits the player. ## Aloe Foods Aloe Jelly Slice is a small jelly-topped pastry garnished with a Yellow Blossom. Aloe Berry Smoothie heals instantly from its strawberry component and adds a slow-healing Gelled effect. Aloe Cake features three blossoms circling its center. Aloe Ice Cream grants hefty Regeneration and Fire Resistance. Aloe Milkshake stores active effects and returns them to the player when next attacked. ## Passionfruit Foods Passionfruit Tart now gives Spitting I for 5 seconds. Passionfruit Sorbet is currently uncraftable. Passionfruit Cake resembles a pavlova topped with Passionfruit pieces and jelly. Passionfruit Ice Cream is a soft yellow scoop that provides a strong Spitting effect. Passionfruit Milkshake stores active effects and applies them to the next mob the player hits. ## Mixed Dish Tropical Salad combines Aloe Leaves, Passionfruit, and raw Yucca into a single flavorful dish. ## Compatibility Peculiars runs on both client and server sides. It's available for Forge and NeoForge loaders and supports Minecraft versions 1.19.2 and 1.20.1.
