What Transmission Provides
Project Red Transmission replaces standard redstone dust with a wire system that can be placed on any block surface. The wires run up walls, across ceilings, and turn around corners without losing power. Up to sixteen separate signals can be merged into a single bundled cable, letting you keep complex circuits tidy.
Who Benefits
If you spend time building redstone machines, this module lets you route power more cleanly and keep large builds organized. It’s useful for engineers who need reliable connections in tight spaces or multi-layer builds.
Core Capabilities
- Three-dimensional routing - wires attach to walls and ceilings, so you no longer have to keep everything on the ground.
- Bundled cables - combine sixteen signals into one line, reducing clutter and simplifying large logic networks.
- Compatibility - works on both client and server, requires the Neoforge loader, and runs with Minecraft version 1.21.1.
- Dependencies - needs CodeChicken Lib and CB Multipart to function.
Compatibility Notes
The mod is licensed under MIT and is listed for Neoforge only. It doesn't support other loaders such as Fabric or Forge. It's confirmed for Minecraft 1.21.1; earlier versions are listed in the repository but are marked end-of-life and not guaranteed to work with this module.
Getting Started
Add the Transmission module alongside the core library of Project Red. Real talk, make sure CodeChicken Lib and CB Multipart are present in your mods folder. Once loaded, you’ll find the new wire blocks in the redstone tab of the creative inventory.
