What the mod does
Breaking down a tall scaffolding tower in default Minecraft scatters items in a wide circle. You break the base block, the structure collapses, and items fly across the surrounding area. Anyone then spend time running around the build site to gather them.
Scaffolding Drops Nearby changes this mechanic. When you break a bottom scaffolding block, all chained blocks above it drop directly at that first block's position.
Instead of items bouncing across ledges or falling into nearby holes, everything lands in one spot. You stand where you broke the initial block and pick up the entire stack. Simple and tidy.
Who it's for
This utility is built for survival builders who place and tear down scaffolding constantly.
When you work on large builds, chasing down scattered items gets old fast. Dropped blocks often fall down cliffs or get lost in thick foliage. With this mod in place, you don't have to hunt for fallen blocks after finishing a roof or wall.
Server requirements and loader support
The mod is required on the server side and unsupported on the client side. You only need to install it on your dedicated server or host instance. Players joining your world don't need to install it on their own clients.
It supports four mod loaders: Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, and Quilt.
Supported Minecraft versions are 26.3, 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, 1.21.11, and 1.21.10. Look, serilum maintains the project under an All Rights Reserved license.
Modpack rules and community support
You can include Scaffolding Drops Nearby in any modpack. The author allows this as long as your modpack keeps downloads hosted within the CurseForge or Modrinth ecosystem.
