What it does TravellersToasts puts a small toast on screen the first time you properly explore a biome. The idea is simple: vanilla has dozens of biomes, but many look alike at a glance. This mod gives you a moment of recognition when you arrive somewhere new. ## How the toast decides when to appear The mod doesn't just mirror the debug screen. It runs a handful of checks before showing anything. Movement checks wait until your projected path stays inside the biome for a short time. That stops a toast from popping while you skip across an ice field in a boat. Cooldown checks enforce a configurable gap before the same biome can trigger again. Crossing a border back and forth won't spam you. Location checks suppress toasts underground unless you're in a cave biome such as lush caves. Strip mining won't fire notifications. For ocean biomes, the toast only appears while you're swimming - riding a boat does not count. Inhabited time checks look at the chunk's inhabited time. If the chunk has been lived in past a configurable threshold, the toast stays hidden. This keeps your base and well-trodden paths quiet. Note that this particular check needs the mod on the server to work. ## Who it suits Players who enjoy exploration and want a lightweight reward for finding new places. It adds no items, no commands, no progression systems - just a quiet nudge when the world shows you something fresh. ## Compatibility The mod runs on Fabric and Quilt. Supported Minecraft versions are 1.20.4, 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.4, 1.19.3, and 1.19.2. It's a client-side mod; the server side is unsupported. The inhabited-time feature won't function on servers without the mod installed. License is MIT.
