AntiXray

What it does AntiXray is a server-side mod that obscures valuable blocks from players using x-ray cheats. It doesn't require a client install. The mod ships with sensible defaults for the Overworld and the Nether, and you can add any custom dimension by its registry name. Operators or players with the antixray.bypass permission can see the real world when the bypass option is enabled. ## Engine modes Three modes control how blocks are replaced. Mode 1 swaps fully hidden ores from the hiddenBlocks list with blocks from replacementBlocks. Mode 2 randomizes both lists together, turning every listed block into a fake ore. Mode 3 behaves like mode 2 but handles high-latency connections better; the author recommends it for most servers. ## Configuration highlights Each world section toggles enabled, sets engineMode, maxBlockHeight, updateRadius, and lavaObscures. The hiddenBlocks and replacementBlocks arrays accept block tags and individual blocks. Prefix an entry with ! to remove it; rules apply left to right so removals go after additions. The #antixray:hidden_only_ores tag lets mod developers hide custom ores without turning them into decoys. ## Compatibility and requirements The mod runs on NeoForge, Fabric, and Quilt. Supported Minecraft versions include 1.21.1 and the 26.x series (26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2, 26.2-rc-2, 26.3, 26.1-rc-1). It is server-side only; clients don't need it. The codebase is a port of Paper's async anti-xray patches from 1.14 and 1.17, adapted for Forge and Fabric loaders. ## Who should use it Server owners who want a lightweight, configurable way to deter x-ray users without forcing clients to install anything. The per-dimension config and bypass permission make it practical for survival, creative, or modpack servers that run custom dimensions.
