What It Does
Crafting Tweaks adds a row of buttons to compatible crafting tables so you can rotate the grid, balance out your stacks, or clear everything back into your inventory without touching each slot by hand. It needs the Balm library installed alongside it to work. It's listed under the Utility and quality of life category on the project's Modrinth page.
Key Features
Hold shift on the balance button and it spreads a single stack evenly across the whole grid instead of just leveling what's already there. Right-click the result slot and you'll craft a full stack in one go rather than one item at a time. Hold W while clicking items in your inventory to send them straight into the grid, or hold Shift and W to send every item of that type at once. There's also a keybind that instantly compresses or decompresses items between their block and ingot forms for 3x3 and 2x2 recipes.
The mod is bi-optional. If you install it, the rotate, balance, and clear buttons work whether or not the server has it too, so you don't need everyone on a server to have it for it to help you.
Who It Suits
Anyone doing a lot of crafting by hand, stacking and unstacking ingredients over and over, will get the most out of this. Here's the thing, it suits solo players and people on multiplayer servers alike, since it works independent of what the server runs.
Compatibility
Crafting Tweaks supports Forge, Fabric, and NeoForge, and lists support for Minecraft 26.3, 1.21.1, 26.2, and 26.1.2. Both the client side and server side install are optional. Modpack and server owners who want to add support for their own custom crafting containers can register them through data packs, which the mod's repository says work on Fabric and Forge. Forge users also have an IMC API available for registering containers in code.
