What the mod does
FancyMenu lets you redesign Minecraft menus through an interactive visual editor. You don't need to write code to adjust buttons, backgrounds, or text elements on your screen. The mod is required on the client side, so you can change your personal game screens without setting up anything on a server. It fits modpack creators who want customized title screens and players who prefer a clean layout.
Visual tools and dynamic elements
The built-in editor gives you tools to rearrange existing layouts or build fresh screens from scratch. You can place static text, adjust button placements, and import animated image files in GIF or APNG formats.
Beyond static graphics, the mod includes logic tools for custom interfaces. You can set loading requirements with conditional statements to show or hide elements when specific game states occur. Look, the system supports custom variables and text placeholders. If you want to show live patch notes in a text box, you can feed web markdown from community projects into the layout. If you install the optional Fancy Entity Renderer dependency, you can also display 3D player models directly inside your custom menus.
Server controls and companion addons
While the mod is client-side, you can also place it on a dedicated server as an optional addition. On servers, admins can remotely open specific interface windows on connected clients that have the mod. A Spigot plugin provides similar control on plugin servers, letting staff trigger screen popups and update client variable values without running the mod on the server core.
Several companion projects expand these capabilities. Drippy Loading Screen alters the initial Mojang loading screen. SpiffyHUD adjusts the in-game heads-up display, including the hotbar. If you run into mod conflicts, you can check the published incompatibility list. Community layouts and prebuilt designs are available through template channels in the project Discord server.
Version support and loaders
FancyMenu is created by Keksuccino under the DSMSLv3.1 license. And it supports Fabric and Neoforge mod loaders. Verified Minecraft versions include 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2, and 26.3.
