What the mod does
Gazebos (RPG Series) adds gazebo structures to villages in your world. Created by ZsoltMolnarrr, this mod covers the adventure, magic, and world generation categories. Each gazebo holds a small spell library. Inside, you'll find a Spell Binding Table alongside books.
This setup offers a direct path to finding Spell Books during normal exploration. You don't have to craft everything from scratch right away. Look, instead, you can walk into a town and pick up spell resources on the spot.
Structure variants and configuration
The mod matches the surrounding environment by generating biome-specific variants. You will encounter five different gazebo styles during your journeys:
- Desert
- Plains
- Savanna
- Snowy
- Taiga
Gazebos spawn commonly within vanilla villages by default. If you want to change how often these structures appear in your world, you can edit the generation settings. The mod stores its village spawning options in config/gazebo/villages.json.
Technical requirements and installation
This project is a content add-on designed for Spell Engine. Spell Engine is a required dependency, so you must install it for this mod to function.
On the technical side, this is a server-side mod. The server side is required, while the client side is unsupported. It supports Fabric, Forge, and Neoforge mod loaders. Verified Minecraft versions include 1.20.1, 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, 1.21.1, and 1.21. The project uses an All Rights Reserved license.
Compatibility and version management
Keep your mod list synchronized when running RPG Series projects. Gazebos requires a matching release of Spell Engine. If you try to mix older RPG Series add-ons or mismatched Spell Engine files, the game will fail at startup or misbehave during play.
When updating across major technical overhauls, spell books from older saves no longer carry valid spell data. You'll have to craft those books again or bind their spells fresh at a Spell Binding Table. Back up your world before applying major updates. There is no external wiki maintained for the project because all information is available in the game.
