InvMove

What it doesInvMove is a client-side mod that removes the usual lock on player movement when you open an inventory or other screen. You can walk, jump, sprint, and even dismount from a mount while the screen stays open. The mod also hides the darkened background tint on screens that don't pause the game, so you can see the world behind the UI.## Who it's forPlayers who want to keep moving while managing items, checking recipes, or using modded interfaces. It works in singleplayer and on servers, though server-side anticheat may flag the movement packets.## ConfigurationEverything is controlled through an in-game config menu (requires Cloth Config). You can enable or disable movement and background hiding globally, then fine-tune each screen type individually. Options include allowing jumping, choosing how sneaking behaves (off, maintain previous state, or hold-to-sneak), disabling movement when a text field is focused, and setting defaults for unrecognized screens. A keybind can toggle movement on the fly.## Compatibility and requirementsInvMove runs on Fabric and NeoForge for Minecraft versions 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2, and 26.3. On Fabric it needs Fabric API and Mod Menu to open the config screen. On NeoForge the author recommends Game Menu Mod Option for in-game settings. REI, JEI, and EMI compatibility lives in a separate addon called InvMoveCompats. The mod is licensed under LGPL v3.0.## CaveatsBecause it sends movement packets while screens are open, some server anticheat systems may treat it as suspicious. The author explicitly disclaims responsibility for bans on public servers. The mod is client-side only; the server doesn't need it installed.
