What the mod does
Vanilla Minecraft locks the advancement menu to a fixed, compact window. Large modpacks quickly crowd that layout with dozens of tabs, pushing entries off screen or making them hard to navigate. Paginated Advancements & Custom Frames replaces that rigid layout with an expanded interface.
It introduces pagination controls so you can browse through every tab without clutter. You can pin specific tabs that you're actively working on, keeping your current goals in view. The menu also remembers which tab you opened last, returning you straight to it when you press the key again.
Visual settings and custom frames
The mod includes visual options to adjust how the menu looks. You can turn off background fading behind the advancement window. Here's the thing, it also lets you configure the spacing between individual tabs, giving you the choice between a dense layout and extra breathing room.
Data packs and compatible mods can register new advancement frames and colors. Each new frame type uses two textures, one for unobtained state and one for obtained state, along with a metadata configuration file. That file lets creators adjust styling options like color or strikethrough text, as well as horizontal and vertical item offsets. Packs can then assign these custom frames, or existing vanilla frames, to specific advancements through JSON list definitions.
